Roth Complexity Lab — Budapest
A public scientific institute and think tank advancing complex adaptive systems research, AI, and a generative model of mathematical creation — all built on one unifying lens: the S-I-C-T framework.
Structure · Information · Cohesion · Transformation
S-I-C-T is a four-coordinate diagnostic lens for complex adaptive systems. It models any system through Structure (architecture and constraints), Information (the patterns flowing through it), Cohesion (the proofs and couplings holding it together), and Transformation (the pressures forcing it to evolve). A system stays stable while S + C ≥ I + T.
How new mathematics is born
The deepest application of S-I-C-T is a generative, predictive model of how symbolic systems evolve under cognitive, computational, and AI-accelerated pressure. New mathematics is the restoration of coherence at a higher level of abstraction: when I + T overwhelms S + C, a field becomes fragile, and stability cannot be restored inside the old axioms — the architecture reorganizes at a higher level of abstraction.
Validated claim by claim
Every assertion is tagged by epistemic standing — rigorous, interpretive, analogical, or speculative. S-I-C-T is honest about what it is and is not: rigorous pre-paradigmatic systems science with a concrete path to stronger validation.
